Our story

We started with a simple idea: feeling better doesn't always happen sitting still.

Mind Body Align is a boutique Reformer + Tower Pilates studio in Portland's South Waterfront. We keep classes small, instruction intentional, and community at the center of everything we do.

Why we exist

We built Mind Body Align around the belief that movement changes things — not just physically, but in the way you carry yourself, the way you show up, the way you feel in your own body. Our Pilates program is designed to be challenging, accessible, and genuinely worth your time. Small classes. Exceptional equipment. Instructors who actually pay attention.

Movement first

Pilates and movement aren't add-ons. They're the point. We believe in the power of getting into your body and out of your head.

Small and intentional

Six stations per class. Every time. We keep things intimate so every person gets real attention, real correction, and a real experience.

Accessible and real

No perfect Pilates form required. We meet people where they are and build from there.

What we believe

Meaningful change often happens when you commit to showing up — on the mat, in the studio, in community with people who are working toward something too. We build a practice around that belief, and we keep classes small enough that it actually feels like something.

"The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body."

More than a practice

Community is part of the practice

Something happens when you show up to the same small class week after week. You start to know the people around you. You cheer each other on. You notice when someone's having a hard day. We didn't engineer that — we just kept the classes small and let it happen. The community at Mind Body Align is one of the things our members mention most. It's not something we can put on a pricing page. It's just what the studio feels like.

Come move with us.

Whether you're brand new to Pilates or looking for a studio that takes your practice seriously, we'd love to have you.
